BMC Security collaborate with Abacus Training Group to offer full Highfield (HABC) approved security related courses for those looking for employment within the security industry, with courses running on a regular basis throughout London and the Southeast.

Level 2 Award for Door Supervisors in the Private Security Industry

This qualification has been developed to meet the requirements of the Security Industry Authority (SIA) for Door Supervision. It is based on the relevant SIA Specifications for Learning and Qualifications and provides the learner with the necessary skills and knowledge to apply for an SIA licence and work as a Door Supervisor within the Private Security Industry.

First Aid EFAW Level 3 Course

From April 2021, those attending an SIA Training course (Door Supervisor/Security Officer) will need to have at minimum a valid First Aid certificate with at least 12 months validity. It will be a requirement for training centres to verify the qualification prior to any SIA training taking place.

SIA Door Supervisor Training (Top-up)

Learners will need to show that they hold a current and valid First Aid or Emergency First Aid certificate* that meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. It is an SIA requirement that training centres must confirm that each learner is sufficiently qualified in First Aid or Emergency First Aid and also produce a valid ACT Awareness Certificate.

Security Guard Training Course Level 2 (Top-up)

The objective of this qualification is to support a role in the workplace. It is designed for learners who currently hold a licence from the Security Industry Authority (SIA) to work as a door supervisor and need to be brought up to date with the new licence-linked qualifications requirements.

CCTV Training Course

The Level 2 CCTV qualification is designed for those learners wishing to apply for a license from the Security Industry Authority (SIA) to work as a CCTV operator for public space surveillance. This formal CCTV Training Course is based on the relevant SIA specification for learning and qualifications and is supported by Skills for Security.

CSCS Card (GQA)

This qualification is aimed at individuals wishing to prove they have the level and range of knowledge required to work safely in a Construction working environment. Achievers of this unit will fulfil the CSCS requirements for the General Construction site Labourer’s card.
